Wait just one gosh darn second. Why try to pass the blame off on aphexcoil? Why not put the blame squarely where it belongs: On the shoulders of a gullable group of people who hung on every word, no matter how absurd, and refused to stop and think about what they were reading?

It went on as long as it did, and to the degree it did, because the more he dished out, the bigger his following became.

The "manly cry".
The "saved the farm, but now she won't take my calls".
The "overheard remarks from the mother-in-law".

Just to name a few.

Aphexcoil. 40yotrader, and the rest of the cast of characters are not the problem. It's the gullable group who give them credibility by paying attention to them.

In any case, it's not as if anybody bought anything. If it was a gag, he put an awful lot of time and thought into it.

I couldn't imagine the emotions of going from no trading experience to throwing on 9 contracts. He might have had an aphexcoil type seize up, and is too embarrassed to talk about it. He seemed too disciplined though to mess things up too badly.
 
really beginning to look like this whole thing was one big hoax after all...

stops posting the very day he was supposed to begin? i just don't buy it...
