This is very complex. ES is clearly exhausted and probably wants lower. Same with YM. But now NQ is making a run at anticipating the summer runup in tech.

I say very very complex. If NQ turns lower, I am going short if ES doesn't go through this 1535/37 ish area. My pain threshold is very low, 2 handles.

If it does go higher then, it will be on the shorts like me getting squeezed taking it higher, not real strong buying.

Be careful short now. QM is another intangible. It is now down close to a $1. That can take ES higher.

In terms of stocks against the background of other markets I'd agree that it is very complex at the moment --many, many cross currents.

I lost 3 handles short ES. I was up 1 1/4, but I was going for far bigger game. As soon as it broke through 1537.50, I took my loss.

The buyer(s) yesterday was (from my point of view) very different than the other buyers. I am not sure, but it seems as if this buyer has great appetite for growth and high risk tolerance.

It may be money that is making it's way around the world after the exodous of Shanghai.
