?? 3, 27" in portrait mode... notice the pedestal for each monitor. The chart array is about the same size as a 50" TV.

Oh crap. Sorry. I just noticed they are all upright. I thought it was just one monitor on the left. That is a great idea.
I know it's nothing new. I know Dustin does the same thing. At least he used to when he was posting in the P/L threads. But one of mine is flat, and the other is curved. But still agreat idea for the future.
When I got this there were only 2 monitor models that met the criteria... 27-28", UHD, able to pivot to portrait, and pedestal base "small enough". I think there are more now.
The evidence is all around you, in pretty much every picture you see posted of a multi-monitor setup. Why are people setting up 6-8 flatscreens in a curved configuration? One day some engineer noticed this and designed a a curved monitor. The rest is history.

I never thought about curved but it sounds like once you go curved, you can't go back. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Judging by the number of curved monitors I see on sale on CL and FB, I think some do go back.
Also, I would speculate that curved monitors don't work well in portrait mode. Curved monitors could also be a bit tricky in multiple monitor setups where you have 2 rows of monitors, since you'd typically want the upper row angled down. The curve would create lots of gappage b/w the rows.
Because I sit perpendicular t them middle one. Seems to fit a bit better on the table from the viewing angle. Curved placement no particular advantage or disadvantage.
Also vibration from computer fan causes... jostling by the dogs... cause the monitors to skid around a bit... I dunno. Glad to see that it perplexes you for flat screens to be arranged with a curve...
