4 monitors on laptop - is it possible?

Statement above is completely untrue

No its not you fool. I know a boat load about this from education and experience. If people think I don't know what I am talking about go ahead and try it. But, don't come crying when you fry your notebook.

siki13,

You need to do your homework obviously. Don't make stupid responses if you can't back it up with facts

Seems to me that the Matrox is a steal compared to the SideCar. I have done countless searches time and time again for this, and these seems to be the only two out there?

P.S I stumbled upon this today in my search, looks interesting.

16k for a mirror seam? sounds not worth it. I can live with the bezel for less than 1/10 of the price. just wait until they come out with a 37 or 40" LCD monitor.

dino, you know nothing, increasing the values of the front porch and back porch values of a VGA output signal has nothing to do with frying ones power supply and motherboard.

Not the only two. I've been using a German-made VTBook card with my trading notebooks for several years, trouble-free. Hard to beat bang for the buck @$249 and up.
