As soon as I crack a certain adobe program! Acrobat of course! I need to setup a Python script to automate the process ;) Otherwise you will have to just take me for my word, as if I were a guru. I bet I'll be one if I succeed. So if I fail I loss 3k, if I succeed I become a millionaire and become famous. Best 3k investment ever! If I am traveling the world in one year that would be proof of success. Maybe an instagram account. Then I could start selling newsletters teaching everyone how to trade VXX to achieve returns of legend.
 
Because traveling the world and/or selling newsletters is proof of trading success. Proof attached!

The trend is your friend...till it's not. -- this is basically the only thing every amateur bozo trader needs to know;

Of course, it's easier said than done...and the devil is in the details...but that's the recipe in a nutshell,
Try to develop your trader intuition or sixth sense -- this is also key, because if you wait for a smooth definite line to act on...you will sometimes miss major moves,

Learn what makes the Market Lady tick...understand her anger or happy...or potential support/resistance levels,
and kind of keep those in mind, and wait for them to unfold,

Flirt with the market lady. dance with her...see how she reacts, toy with her, test her, look into her eyes, face...her body language, -- Pickup subtle and not so subtle signs. Get a reading.
This is essentially what trading is daily. Could be awesomely rewarding, or a slap in the face.

The Market is a beautiful thing...it's like watching and predicting a movie happening before your eyes,
Each day, each new chart...is filled with drama, and suspense,

You know there are traders that concentrate their trading around ranges and not trends.

For those who did not get it, this is a parody thread (seems like almost no one did). Though the idea of shorting VXX in the way laid out on the initial post is very good - it be would be extremely profitable until one day it would likely blow off.
