Stories like this make me so incredibly angry. Pure corruption and deceit, lies, and price gouging and greed. Why is there no regulator in the US who mandates prices for every single procedure and medication. Kill those mother fucking greedy pharmaceuticals, hospitals, and insurers who all lie in the same bed to fuck with customers.
When I say kill I mean end this drama. Those companies won't leave anywhere else, they can't as they are heavily regulated everywhere else. They won't shut down either because even with heavy regulations and pressure to keep their prices low they can still eeke out a nice profit margin. Fuck them and reign them in, put them under pressure and simply end this nonsense. NOW,!!!

Maybe that's a bit of over-reacting, yet, it is indeed disgusting.
They know that those people are desperate.
I shared a story about a year ago, about this medication that costs $50~, which is for one illness, yet, a doctor discovered that it works well for reversing eyesight degeneration of elder people, and the only medicine in market atm is $5000~.
The company that owned rights for ,,$5000'' medicine, used their influence to revoke doctor's license, also lawyers, courts and trials to destroy any possibilities for the people to use $50 option.
Disgusting.
Anyway, i think that we hear only about the bad side of the coin. Many great-good stories might be missing the media, so we get a distorted view of the situation.
I think we had the answer all along with examples like Gayle Manchin. EpiPen was $100 for two before buyout.
