Not really a good analogy. What kind of card game is it where you never have to show your hand, never get your bluff called, and never have to fold? That is exactly what this political game is. BTW, I am a pot committed kind of guy in damn near everything I do. Grinding is boring, and life is to short to grind it out. Isn't anyone getting out alive anyway. I'd rather have a good story to tell around the campfire, than be the guy who played it safe.

Can you give me a legal definition of “taken seriously”? Is that some obscure tort law?

Doesn't that seem a bit interesting considering that there is no question the Russians tried to interfere with the 2016 U.S. election? So maybe collusion, maybe not. But if not, a golden opportunity to collude was missed!

Correct. Lots of people have been investigated for colluding with the Russians but Mueller has had to get his scalps for perjury, tax evasion, failing to register as a lobbyist etc because has found nothing related to conspiring with the Russians to commit a crime.

That is not to say that there are no such crimes out there. There are many. Especially over in Camp Clinton.

And - and this is an important point that you and your ilk like to overlook- if Mueller does find such crimes, that does not ipso facto mean that Trump was involved. Most of Muellers stuff on Mannafort, for example, occurred before he even joined the campaign, if not all.

Mueller will not get Trump on obstruction of justice but he will prepare a report trying to dirty him enough to get the dems to indict him after the midterms. And he will get a pile of side scalps to compensate for his failure to make the big kill. That's how he rolls. And over half of the convictions he gets on side players will be overturned on appeal. Thats how he rolls too.
