319 Square Miles... Scary Thought

in a true democracy every single vote has the same value. so - usa is not a democracy as long as there is ec. banana republic.

Trump advocated for the elimination of the electoral college in 2012 without also advocating for the elimination of the Senate.

You do realize you can't call Trump the moron he is and then use him as an example to support your point, right?

It was never supposed to be a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic. If you're an American, you should have studied in school a bit longer or harder. If you are a foreigner, you should read more on the subject you're trying to argue.

Lol, What?

Folks on the left will argue that Trump is a moron, or an idiot, or whatever, and then they'll use him to support the point as if this means their point is valid.

Example:

Left thinks Trump is an idiot.

Warren advocates for abolishing Electoral College

Right says this is stupid.

Left says "Trump advocated the same thing in 2012"

....

Correct. My viewpoint is a constitutional amendment should at least be proposed and voted on knowing full well it's chance to pass are slim to none.

Current EC system is broken in 2019 no matter the wisdom of the founding fathers in 1776.

IMO it works just as it was envisioned, FF’s did not want the larger states to have an overwhelming influence in elections.

States don't have the influence - "they" don't vote.

People should have the influence. But currently it is the parties that do.
And to put an even finer point on it, the extremes of either party have all the influence and their big money supporters.
