The accidental deaths are few and far between. Far, far, far more accidents using cars, etc. As for suicides, removing guns won't do a damned to stop those. If someone wants to kill themselves and you take their gun away, they'll just use something else. Plenty of ways to kill oneself, so that's a very flimsy argument. Or maybe you think that people will go "I want to kill myself, but I don't have a gun. I guess I'll suck it up."

Remove suicides, and homicides are the problem - with the majority being done with illegally obtained firearms.

Total ALL the gun deaths for whatever reason and anything you can legislate will barely make a dent. And that is the point.

I knew it was something between the 2 people as soon as i heard the story, it didnt add up, now after seeing the sister on T.V. it is glaringly obvious that these people are far left militant liberals who have their backs up, thinking that everyone in America is a racist, yada yada yada.

The girl tried to claim on CNN that the cops were racist because they didnt do anything for them after the shooting, except the guy was already in jail so i dont know what she expected.

Most likely the way it went down was a minor neighborly dispute where both sides were nitpicking at each other, for a while, and passive aggressive moves on each other, then the guy blows his lid one day over something minor and starts shooting.

Generally speaking, I have learned in life that if im going to confront someone about something, especially a minor transgression, I have to think that saying or doing something might actually make a difference, otherwise ive learned that nothing really good comes from just telling someone they are an asshole, especially if you have to deal with the person after that. I know so many people who are scorched earth types just waiting to give anyone and everyone who wrongs them a piece of their mind, and it never gets them anywhere.

I always ask my self 2 questions when going after someone who pisses me off in real life, will it make a difference, and secondly am i in a position whereby torching someoen will help me, or are they in the position of power? If the answer to either one is no, ive learned to just live and let live. I learned the second one the hard way after torching a CRA (Canada revenue agency) person on the phone and then having her fuck with me for months afterwords.

Not saying this was by any means those kids fault, but im saying that people who are confrontational by nature inevitably find a confrontation that works out poorly for them like in this case. I get a very clear picture in my head in this case of a couple know it all kids in college going after some old man that they didnt know was a psycho, and this is how lots of these neighborly homicide stories are.
