"Whites" cast 72% of those, "blacks" cast 13%.
"Whites" cast 127*0.72*0.39 votes for Obama: 36 million.
"Blacks" cast 127*0.13*0.93 votes for Obama: 15 million.

The mid-80s are the typical percentage of "blacks" who vote democrat. If that had been the case for Obama 2012...

127*0.13*0.85 = 14 million "black" votes for Obama, one million fewer....
Take those from Obama, leaving 65 million votes for Obama, and give them to Romney, 62 million votes. Obama still wins.

The "white" vote carried the day.

Getting in trouble at school back when for me was nothing. They could paddle me all day, so what. Telling me they were calling my parents, chills down my spine. I'd get it x 10 at home.
I never even once skipped a class let alone a whole school day. My father would have beaten me unconscious. I got welts for a report card he wasn't happy with once. Another time I made the mistake of waking him up from his Sunday nap after telling us kids to be quiet. He broke a 3/4" cutting board on my backside. Not thinking I'd had enough he went and got another one to finish my "lesson" with.

I realize you're Canadian, but we don't decide elections here by how many vote "against"--never have. At any rate, as skewed as the "white" vote was "against" him, Obama still won. Was it the extra million "black" votes that made the difference? No. The other races that "voted against" (lol) Romney did.
