At this stage of the game, if/when I hear any bullshit claims of "racism", it's just a complete non-starter. The imbeciles that scream racism at every turn are just like the "boy who cried wolf". i.e. it's just another lazy, empty slogan to try and avoid the realities of the present day dysfunctional society.

Thanks to capitalism and globalization, the rich become richer while the poor and middle class remain stagnant at best.

Everyone has one vote. The poor and middle class, which represent the vast majority of the population, votes in a way that benefits themselves, resulting in higher taxes on the rich, and more benefits for the poor.

Over time, you develop into more and more socialism, and stagnant economies, perhaps some of which can be seen in Europe.

yeah you are certainly right. The thing is, the USA is NOT some pure democracy, it is a Constitutional Republic. I think it is obvious that our Founders lived through and foresaw exactly this type of societal decay, which is why they established a Constitution. The idea being that it would prevent what you describe. But our foundational law has been slowly eroded in nearly every respect which is why we are in this mess to begin with.
