Interesting question. First, I don't think you can generalize. France, Italy and Germany now have relatively conservative, pro-US governments. I think they might prefer a credible US president rather than an Idol contestant. No doubt there are regimes in the middle east and africa that would welcome Obama. I can't imagine why that would matter to us however.

It seems everyone are agreeing on that there is some valid race that you can discern between.
Is the jewish race voting for jewish politicians like Lieberman or conservative air-heads like Bush?
I don't think there is anything like "race", but there are other genetic differences, although nothing like the "race" concept.
