I have said it dozens of times. We need to protect the high risk better and let the low risk live.

If you have data that says... even this far more contagious variant is killing young healthy kids in statistically significant ways... produce the data and I will change my argument.

I speak to doctors who work in ERs and ICUs on a periodic basis... a few months ago delta spread around here... and as of that time what I have been saying still held true. Its the high risk who get hurt. Fat, diabetic, pre existing conditions.

If you have data which shows low risk young people are dying from Covid... produce the data.
I will adjust my argument.

You all have been wrong on just about every issue for about a year... because you don't look at the data. Lockdowns failed Canada and many other places many many times. If you don't lock down to extinguish the virus and keep your borders sealed its a fools remedy.

Imagine if some of these online idiots were in charge and decided to implement some lock down based on their version of what "high risk" is. Sheer chaos would ensue. There is nothing practical about their ideas never mind that they aren't medically sound. I agree though wouldn't hurt to see some more of these idiots silenced by the virus itself.

Delta Variant has been doing just that...silencing many of the Covidiots here in North America. That's why many of the Covidiots are angry...throwing their voices, protests, and misinformation at those that are vaccinated.
  • Covidiots see the statistics about our hospitals. Most of those Hospitalized, ICU admission and Deaths are by those that are not vaccinated. Worst, our children's hospitals are filling up with a record number of severely Covid ill children.
It's an unpleasant truth for them to swallow right now.

Yet, as I've also stated...I'm not a fan of vaccine mandates except for Federal employees (e.g. military). At some point in this Pandemic...you just need to let go and let the Covidiots do their own thing but that should not include giving them medical care when they become sick with Covid that requires Hospitalization.
  • People are given a choice...they have the option to just wear a face mask and have a recent Covid negative test.
The latter above holds them accountable for their decisions especially when the decided to put the health & safety of others around them at risk.

I have never argued they should not get the vaccine...
The vast majority probably should (from their own personal well being standpoint)

So don't imply that I would ever tell a person (not my own child) to not get the vaccine... especially the high risk.

I have a sister in law who has an immune issue who is not getting the vaccine for religious reasons... I told her I thought she should consider the J&J because she has an immune disorder. (I don't understand the high risk not getting the vaccine because I look at data.)
