I have finished the Netflix series last week first, brought to us by the GoT producers. Pretty good and it borrows from the 2nd book too. It is mainly in the UK, easier for Westerners to follow the characters.
Now I am working my way through the Amazon Prime Chinese series with subtitles. It has 30 episodes, that is a lot of reading. My Chinese is not up to standard, I need the subs. Very different from the Netflix series, and honestly, just how often can you watch a Chinese contemporary movie? (that happens to be a sci-fi) There is a detective in this who happens to be the comedic sidekick.
