It is essential that the superdom freezes, because otherwise you will probably place orders at wrong prices. Especially when prices jump up and down at a rate of 5 times per second. When it freezes you can select the exact price you want for the order.
Try to do that when prices jump up and down at a rate of 5 times per second.
The same if you want to put a stop order.
You should indeed thank NinjaTrader for this.
If you click when the price is at 3850, your price can be a few ticks higher or lower, depending on how an when the prices jump up or down.
You must be a superman if you always manage to place orders at the right price.
Actually I’ve used different ladders …
On TWS, Xtrader, CQG, Sierra Chart and Tradovate.
Never had any issue because the ladder is static.
The dynamic version isn’t intuitive …
The last price stays in the center and its tough to tell if the market is moving up or down …
NT ladder isn’t for point and click traders.
