Back spreads are my weapon of choice but not possible in type cash. If I want to do spreads I can call the desk but that’s too consuming for this
What broker are you using where you have to call a trade desk to do a one lot SPY spread?

They’re a great service 99% of the time and useless when you need them intraday
no its that if i want to do it, given the intraday (daytrading restriction) for not having 25k in there from blowing it out two weeks ago - i have to call it in. they'll put it on
they were back up for two minutes and crapped out again. outrageous, done
