28 million people in the US on Food Stamps

All you guys are complaining about is you feel the money is coming out of your piss ant wages. Be thankful you make enough to give help to others. Do not forget that some of you clowns are working and might be next to lose your piss ant job and be standing in the same lines all the greedy ones are complaining about.

Face it, big business always wants lower wages for the workers, wants to abolish all unions, wants to cut healthcare, wants to cut pensions, wants to cut bennies. Why? Lower wages etc better for a society as a whole or just for the fat slobs that run the company? Bet you had to hide your true feelings to answer that question?

What you see when "MOST" are seeking help is not their own shortfalls but the systems faults. Who is bullshitting who?

Wise up, most of you clowns are a missed paycheck away from being next in line.

Are US companies trying to compete with countries like China and India that have labor costs that are a fraction of costs in the US?
 
No, they are not. The labor cuts etc go to the fat cats. China currency has been rising. Todays import prices were at 2.8%

The myth of China labor costs lowering our prices is just that. Is the price of a Ford assembled in Mexico cheaper than the one from Detroit or Canada? Is the price of a BMW assembled in SC cheaper in USA because the plant in Sc is not a union plant like the ones in Deutchland?

Greed, thats all. Be thankful today you are not in a bread line because your day might be soon to join the line.

The system is partly at fault but its the attitude of these clowns.

My girlfriend is a supervisor at the welfare department. 95% of these clowns are there because they want to take advantage of the system. They know every loopholes to extract the most money out of your tax dollars and there is nothing we can do about it because of the ACLU. There is also a service that they can use to make sure that they get the most out of the government.

We pay for their bus passes, schools, food, childcare, health care just to get them to work. But why work when you get the same amount of money or more if you count all the benefits by staying home?

Here is an example of the loopholes: They used their relatives to take care of the kids while looking for jobs /schools /work and the relatives get another $1800 per month to watch a few kids. The system is rewarding them here in CA. Even their case workers are suing for discrimination/stress to get paid leave because they know how the system work.

The government tried to put in a 5 yrs life time benefit per individual 6 yrs ago. Now time is up but the same people are still on welfare because the ACLU is saying its illegal just to cut them off once their 5 yrs is up.

What do I get for 40% of my income get chopped off due to taxes? Not much. If you put in way more than your fair share year after year comparing to these clowns and dont get much in return, something is wrong at the top. We cant fix everything but a few major things here and there and we could be great again.

As you can tell, I am pissed off. Just got my taxes back from my CPA. It was as expected, but he told me if Hillary or Obama wins in November, the 35% bracket will probably go to between 39 to 42% as a minimum. For what, to give my hard earned $$$ to parasites.....only in America.

The US Senate Monday passed a mammoth 648 billion dollar defense policy bill, shorn of attempts by disappointed anti-war Democrats to dictate President George W. Bush's Iraq strategy.

The bill included around 128 billion dollars for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, according to a Congressional Budget Office estimate.

The legislation passed by 92 votes to three after Democrats lost several attempts to dictate US troop levels in Iraq.

While the Department of Defense Authorization bill for fiscal year 2008 sets the size of programs, funds can only be disbursed after the passage of a Senate defense spending bill due to be taken up by the chamber this week.

The most significant Iraq related portion of the bill was an amendment backed by Democratic Senator Joseph Biden which passed last week, calling for a federalization of Iraq, with large amounts of power ceded to the provinces.

The amendment was however non-binding and will not force Bush to change strategy in the unpopular war.

Democrats failed by only four votes to include an amendment which would require troops who served in Iraq or Afghanistan to be granted as much time at home as they spent on combat deployments.

The bill would have effectively limited the number of troops available for deployment, and cut the size of the 160,000 strong US force in Iraq more quickly than the gradual reductions which Bush has promised.

The House of Representatives has already passed its version of the Defense authorization.

In 2002 our defense budget was only 350 billion

Subject to final approval, the overall defence budget for the next financial year will be more than $350bn.

I will admit, I am seeing more of these poor souls around the grocery stores and other places in public, and, well, at some point, just like most of you traders, the next move is the hand into the pocket and a direct donation to them, out of kindness...

so, for the grace..... let's hope it doens't continue to spread....

while other arrogant pompous idiots continue to debate whether or not the US is in a recession, as if their agreement to these conditions makes a difference.

just try stepping over whole families looking pitifully as you go grocery shopping or to a restaurant for dinner......
