28 million people in the US on Food Stamps

So with about 300 million people in the U.S., about 1 in 11 people are on food stamps. That is quite a shitload. I see a very bleak future for many people in this country. Outsourcing of jobs is one thing that contributes to more poor folks in this country, as well as higher high school drop our rates. I think it will get even worse over the years as soaring costs for employee benefits, such as health insurance, will have even more jobs outsourced. The end result will be a small amount of wealthy people with a massive amount of people living in poverty.
The USA is the country of extremes ...worldwide the rich get richer and the poor poorer, the gap widens...
Actually it's quite a bit more the $5 an hour. More like $14 plus an hour. Downtown Denver wants to take all of the homeless off the street. They want to use the Philly model. That's costs 100k per person!:eek: One can live a decent life in Denver for 50k ( depending on neighborhood ), so where's the other 50k, admin.

As you can tell, I am pissed off. Just got my taxes back from my CPA. It was as expected, but he told me if Hillary or Obama wins in November, the 35% bracket will probably go to between 39 to 42% as a minimum. For what, to give my hard earned $$$ to parasites.....only in America.
some welfare recipients have the latest mobiles and alot of bling too.
in most countries, if you don't work, you don't eat.
The bottom 10% in any country is going to be unable to provide any sort of financial well being for themselves and their dependents.
At least in this country the poor people have food, shelter, cable tv, transportation, etc.
If they don't have those things, it's only due to drug abuse or mental illness.
