Today, was an interesting day, I need to add some adjustments to my units of risk size my potentials targets are so close, my RR ratio is not looking good, this week end I will build an analysis and take some decisions on past trades and back testing to get an optimal distance to stop.

The account balance is making baby steps but in a positive way. Not the best day, but at least capital was preserved.

Lessons From Today:

1. Cut loses 9/10 are better than let him run.
2. Patience most of the times paid, be willing to wait for better setups has a huge impact on the results.
3. Internet can fail. Find a way to get this cover soon, and electricity. OCO always help.
4. To be the first week of this test, the feelings in general are good, no frustration or out of control feelings so far. a Lot to improve but in general happy with the results. Waiting to start next week a try to maintain the consistency.

The profits for today was + $62.84 (+31.42 Points) in 33 trades.

The weekly numbers are + $175.38 (+117.37 Points) in 58 trades.

Today was an interesting day so far. It started with a long run of profit and later something happened with one indicator on my order entry chart, which caused a loss of 12 points. That made me completely lose focus, resulting in 2 almost revenge like trades that took all of my profit. I will be moving my Order / Exit entry system to another computer, to ensure this indicator error cannot happen again.

The rest of the day was a recovery and loss, up and down like a rollercoaster, as always limit risk and capital protection saved the day.

I have a lot of early exit trades that can give a better R:R ratio. Now I am unhappy with how it looks, so tomorrow I created an early protection system to try and catch bigger moves. Numbers and review of previous trades that it could healthy for the P/L.

I continue growing even with all these mistakes, these are the numbers for today + $63.96 (31.98) points on 27 trades paying $ 27.54 on commissions

Lessons:

• The trading chart must be empty with no indicators
• I do not want to see the daily profit and loss, so I do not feel the need to try and recover losses or get emotional for not having a perfect winning day, lol. Mathematically speaking is impossible why even get upset.

Today was an awesome day for me as a trader, not so much for my account, for the first time I burned my 4 units of risk; the mind set I was proud of before disappeared. Took revenge trades and chasing the price doing reversals. Literally made a lot of obvious mistakes that cost me my first losing day.

The good thing is even if I get bad entries my max loss per trade was respected and my daily loss to.

This lose does not change my plan or mindsight, because am aware of why and how I lost.

Here's the improvements will work on for tomorrow:

1. Will work on my R:R ratio tonight
2. Will limit my trading strategies to only exact trigger points that I define, to maintain consistency.

Automate your exits or entries if you can with python for example. Will stop you from revenge trades and not following system. Python with pandas I can recommend.
