$2500 Deposit Prop Firm

Be nice! People should be able to share both ups & downs without being attacked & we don't know what happened...could be a situation beyond his control.

You are absolutely right, it is a situation beyond my control. My father is a part owner and sales person in a diamond jewelry shop on 5th ave and with the recent economic slump he cannot make enough to cover his multiple mortgages. I am helping him out with everything I can and I cannot afford to lock in too much money any where.

There are a lot of firms who accept 2500 but they are not registered broker dealers, which will put my deposit at risk. I am just trying to find a legitimate firm. I am even willing to do a 50/50 profit split if the fees are low enough. My problem is the fees. I made 12k last month of which 8k was fees.

Where do you live...are you looking to trade remote or from an office?

I cleared with RBC earlier, yes thay have alot of traders, but I dont think its the place where you can walk right in, grab a chair and start trading.

I am in NYC, near long island. If I have to trade at an office, i prefer something in long island. Otherwise, I will trade from home.

i am interested as well, ive been looking for prop. firms in the nassau county area. i havent found any outside of bright. however bright requires a 15k capital contribution.

I just saw a posting for RBC in this month "Trader Monthly" The email address is protrader @rbcpt.com, phone is (212) 905-5860.

I called to inquire about the min. contribution. I was told "50", my reply "50 thousand", yes.

Just an fyi
