25 Worst single ticker stock losses in history

Doesn't list the French missippi company.

At one point the market cap of the company was higher than the value of all the real estate in France. Only ever had a tiny number of employees too.

I suspect that "in history" is not really the case.

META lost $232 Billion in one day
AAPL lost over $100B multiple times

Not sure what the point is of that list since it’s not close to being the biggest single ticker losses

The top 10 biggest single ticker losses (for one day) dwarfs whatever nonsense that original list showed

More interesting would be the largest percentage of market cap drop in a day.
The dollar amount is impressive until you look at the companies market cap.

Use to work for a subcontractor of Worldcom...I still have (use) my Worldcom wrist rest!!

Lucent was one of my biggest losers...Defined benefits!!!

I can't remember fully, but I believe over the years I made money on; Dupont, Sprint, Uber, Kraft, and I bought Wells Fargo after they took over Wachovia.
