Options are cash settled. PDT only applies to margin accounts. Making more than 3 round trips in 5 days in options will trigger your account as a PDT but they can only restrict your margin trading. I actually know a guy who used to trade a 15k option account and he never had a problem with PDT but this was back in 2004.
