23 Million Fewer Americans Would Have Health Coverage Under Obamacare Repeal Plan

Of course this fabricated number ignores that a large portion of those people will have made their own decisions to not have coverage. Take away the existing penalty and people will exercise their freedom of choice. That said, the new bill won't be worth a shit either because it doesn't address the real problem.

First of all, never mind the fact that this is not how it works (you bargain as a mixture of all)

Second, why doesn't your example talk about a sick or old individual against a mixed group which is how these things work? You think you are going to be healthy and young forever?
medicare or medicaid, gotcha covered, no problem, if you are that sick, don't try to by insurance to come out ahead. If you are that sick and you don't qualify for medicare and medicaid pay for it until you do. Or if you have assets, buy health insurance to protect them when you are young and healthy. You should be able to lock in a lifetime low rate. That just about covers everybody normal. Anyone who doesn't fall into that category is special and needs special help the rest of us do not need.

If you think healthcare is expensive now, just wait until it is free.

How do you lock in your health insurance rate for a lifetime?

The problem with healthcare is that a random event can be financially devastating - a random event like a pre-Me baby can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. If I can lock in my rate for the next 60 years that would be huge.
