They won 51-52 seats in the Senate? When did this happen?

I kinda agree with the need for introspection. But I'm not sure you guys are going to like it when (if) the GOP does this and comes out with the only plausible plan. They might just figure out that rallying behind DeSantis and the like is the new way forward, and that will mean less compromising from the GOP long term. Oh sure, it will get rid of Trump (which many of us on the right also want) but it’ going to yield very similar results - just more concise and well spoken in fashion.

DeSantis is the obvious heir apparent and he does have his ways, especially on social issues. But what I think is better about him is that he hasn’t shown himself to be dominating over other Republicans. And that is the main problem with Trump, there is no room for movement and it causes serious conflict and tension.

Ryan is going to lose and Im glad he is.Fuck him and moderate democrats.

Fetterman,Warnock and Kelly have much better chances in red and purple states running as unapologetic leftists and Sharrod Brown has shown 3 times a democrat can do the same in Ohio.

I don't think its in DeSantis' nature to be a dominating party member through direct action, no matter what crazy people in the "DeSantis the Authoritarian" thread claim. People talking about DeSantis' success aren't crediting the one thing he's doing that is actually winning votes - the man is doing his freaking job. Forget the politics. Do your job, dude.

Seems easy, but is remarkably not common. Just my two cents.

Completely disagree. Trump's strength and whatever effectiveness he had was by bringing the republican party to heel and fall in line w/every retarded thing he said. Don't go and get amnesia like the rest of his yes man ass kissers disavowing him now and wiping their social media accounts. Trump used the power of his office like a dictator and sicced the cult against any perceived RINOs. That's why the cult loves/loved him, the conflict and tension.

Hard to believe that DeSantis beat Andrew Gillum by less than half a percent. Y'all dodged a bullet with that Gillum clown. Every once in a while the Great Spirit looks out for ya. What the hell were people thinking?

Just shakin' my head.

Yep----good night for Republicans and it lays a firm foundation for 2024.

DeSantis had no name at that point. Now he has a great name. They have to kill his name before they can "kill" him.
