2022 Election results

You can dislike the opponent but hershel walker is one more hit to the head away from taking the short bus to work.....outside of the football field he has no mental capcity for the job. As a Cowboy fan I love Walker the football player (especially the fact that his trade locked up 3 super bowls) but the man cnanot put one coherrent thought together and he is still very young.
I see---you'd rather have the Marxist Warnock.

It is great for her since she is not even a politician but going to be a short lived victory sadly. I dont think she will have enough time in 5 months to accomplish anything as a stand in to run on going up against an actual incumbent in a stronger blue district. By the time she gets up to speed the election will be upon her and she will not be able to say "I did this or that" Also she just squeaked out the red votes barely despite outspending the other side 10:1.

Ironically Flores was brought to the U.S. as a child by her Mexican parents but ran on a policy of fighting immigration. It is the same old story of lets forget how I got here and what benefits I was given and fuck those who want to come after me haha.

This race is a great example of our current political system. GOP spent millions to be able to say the "flipped" a seat and Dems ignored the race because they know the November election will be under a new district with a strong blue slant and expect to take the seat back. In both cases, no one gives a shit about the actual people living there or their problems. But 30,000 people or so voted.

But Flores' stay on Capitol Hill might be a short one -- she will be up for election for a full term in November against Democratic Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, who is shifting from the 15th Congressional District. The redrawn 34th District is considerably friendlier to Democrats -- while now-President Joe Biden won the seat under its current lines by 4 points in 2020, he would have won the new version by about 16 points.

Lets see how she does in a regular election when the turnout will be much higher
