I have a rather similar setup, tucked away in a cabinet. So boring that it isn't worth a picture. Okay, here you find one if you really want to know how my Intel NUC5i3 looks like: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/docs/boards-kits/nuc/nuc-kit-nuc5i3ryh-brief.htmlHeadless linux mint box for algo trading at the corner of my working desk. Usually I just ssh into this when i pull code changes.
But still, I have to connect my monitor once a week to reset my IB gateway.

Also in my case is this running headless. Ubuntu 20.04, IB's Gateway and Netbeans to run my Java software. Oh, I almost forgot: it also runs MT5 with an experiment, coded in MQL5. It uses Dropbox to save all logfiles and datafiles. This Dropbox folder gets replicated on my desktop and my iPad so I can see what is going on, both at home and while I'm somewhere else.
One of my main reasons for choosing Dropbox is that it runs both on Ubuntu and iPad. You don't find many cloud storage services that offer this. The downside is that their free plan only offers 2 GB of storage space. People who use large databases might find this an unworkable limitation, but for me is the space sufficient. A paid dataplan is rather expensive.I like how you are using Dropbox to save all logfiles and datafiles. Thanks for sharing!
I am using this setup now for over four years. I never lost any data. And I can't remember having an outage at Dropbox which affected me. Since a couple of weeks I do have an issue with Dropbox on my trading computer though. Sometimes it hangs and doesn't upload files to the server. I notice this on my desktop/iPad when files which were supposed be updated aren't. I then have to go to the trading server, kill the Dropbox process and restart it. This happens about once or twice per week. It used to run flawlessly for an entire week, from Sunday evening until the following Saturday morning. So what would you say, how reliable is Dropbox? I
