[2015] Futures P&L

Dumb question but why does your laggy phone wifi increase your risk? I mean obviously I get that it's annoying and makes entries worse - but you send your orders to the exchange and they execute them regardless of what your phone is doing at that point.

Are you not using stops or something?
 
The longer it takes for your order to get to the exchange from your computer, the worse your fill will be esp if the market is moving fast like it does at the open.

I don't use hard stops, I usually exit at market or use a limit depending on the time. I don't like the idea of having resting order that can be seen. I likely pay more because of that, but it's worth the piece of mind I guess.
 
At what point do you think you'll go full time? I know you have commitments, but what will you need to achieve performance wise to jump in?
 
What do you do when you're right three times in a row before 10 am?

Well yes I am a custodial engineer bc seems like all I do is clean up other peoples shit ... as long as I get paid!

Very interrupted trading week... Found out this week I have to prep for a hearing.

Tue late AM I was interrupted with work nonsense
Wed I didn't take the last good trade since I felt guilt about being home and trading and needed to actually start prep for the hearing
Didn't trade the open Thru due to an appt with lawyers
Mon/Fri were uninterrupted
