Conclusion

Based on actual data, CO2 causing global warming is clearly a figment of the UN IPCC's
imagination. The only actual physical attribute that be ascribed to atmospheric carbon dioxide is
one of increasing the cooling efficiency of the total atmosphere, as recently demonstrated by Dr
Noor van Andel 15. For that matter, as discussed, all greenhouse gases, including the most
notorious water vapor and including carbon dioxide, cool the planet. Taxing carbon will have a
deleterious effect on the economies of the world. Many scientists, including the authors, see
global warming from CO2 as a cruel global hoax.

This video from NASA contradicts the warming alarmist hype output by NASA employees like James Hansen about the effects of CO2 on planetary temperatures.

At 1:23 in the video “When the upper atmosphere heats up the CO2 and Nitric Oxide (NO) molecules try as hard as they can to shed heat back into space“

At 2:20 “CO2 and NO are the 2 most efficient coolants in the upper atmosphere“

At 2:55 “Majority of heat is sent back into space by the action of CO2 and NO“

Between March 8 – March 10 2012 a massive solar storm dumped massive amounts of heat into the upper atmosphere, it was CO2 that helped to dissipate the heat, according to the warming alarmists, we should all have fried as the CO2 in their world, causes global warming.

The warmists continue to believe with a singular religious fervour that an inert trace gas, essential to life on earth is the main driver of climate on the planet, not the big orange ball in the sky.

Ice age atmosphere was 'warm', claim scientists
A warm atmosphere rich in carbon dioxide may have surrounded the Earth in an ancient ice age, new research has suggested.

Researchers at the University of Birmingham found that 630 million years ago the earth had a warm atmosphere full of carbon dioxide but was completely covered with ice.
The scientists studied limestone rocks and found evidence that large amounts of greenhouse gas coincided with a prolonged period of freezing temperatures.
Such glaciation could happen again if global warming is not curbed, the university's school of geography, earth and environmental sciences warned.
While pollution in the air is thought to trap the sun's heat in the atmosphere, causing the planet to heat up, this new research suggests it could also have the opposite effect reflecting rays back into space.
This effect would be magnified by other forms of pollution in the earth's atmosphere such as particles of sulphate pumped into the air through industrial pollution or volcanic activity and could create ice age conditions once more, the scientists said.

Dr Ian Fairchild, lead investigator, said: "We came up with an independent test of a theory that the earth, like a baked Alaska pudding, was once hot on the outside, surrounding a cold, icy surface.

The limestones studied were collected in Svalbard in the Arctic Ocean, which is covered in ice and snow.

If it's such a great coolant why have the world's glaciers melted?

Why did the earth exit from the last (and other ice ages). Were woolly mammoths driving cars back then? Or burning the decomposed remains of the dinosaurs for heat and warmth like us humans?

The answer is, of course, no. It's just one of the many examples which show there are larger forces acting with greater effect on the planet than humans burning fossil fuels. That this planet has experienced changes and extremes in temperature that far exceed what we're experiencing now. Which demonstrates this planet's ability to handle these large, dynamic changes as a matter of course, not abnormality.

Which leads one to the conclusion that the GW folks are merely "Peter's crying wolf". Like I've said before, these short-term ***crises*** are mere blips in the overall record of the planet. In the larger context of a 4.2 billion year old rock that has experienced temperature extremes of +1 million degrees C to -250 degrees C, a mere .5-1 degree C rise is meaningless and irrelevant. It's just noise that represents nothing in the context of the long-term trend... The 4.2 billion year trend, not the trend of the last 30/150/215/500/8000 years.

The GW crowd are like an emotionally immature investor looking for a stock to hold for 20 years, yet basing his decision on 1-minute bars... Whooping and hollering over every fluctuation, while willingly disregarding the (much) larger picture fundamentals

All of which makes one wonder - what's in it for the GW crowd? Why are they so invested in being right despite the illogical premise of their cause?

People do not champion causes unless there's a payoff for them. My feeling is that entire issue was started by a farsighted person who provided the framework for this social contagion to take place, then took a step back and reaped the rewards of the endeavor while the zealots and other idiots wasted enormous amounts of time and energy arguing with one another.

That this lunacy has reached the highest levels of world politics makes one conclude that this little controversy exceeded all expectations of its promoter.

Maybe Al Gore invented something after all... Seems he's the only one who's got paid as a result of this circus.
