Weekly Return

Analyzing your performance, basicly 3 weeks made the whole gain of the last 30 weeks, the 12K, 9K and 8.6K gains. The rest is breakeven.

So you need to ask yourself, what went so well in those 3 weeks and maybe you should just sit out weeks when the expectations for your strategy are low...

So are you going to post weekly now that you've cleared the 100k mark again?

Yes, according to the rule I laid out. But I am thinking of reducing it to monthly: less urgency for me.

I don't think having top 10% of weeks or even of trades accounting for all your gains is anything bad. Lots of profitable traders do have that.

We need to understand that my man/machine partnership is a work-in-progress. It was even more so the first part of that period (say first 15 weeks), while I was working on making the partnership click, and there were lots of deviations since the framework was not quite ready. I am now much further along into this - and I believe it is showing on the chart.

I didn't say it was bad, but you have plenty of data, so why not analyze it to gain more valuable info?

Do you know why those 3 weeks were so profitable? If so, can you go further and exploit it more?

How about the losing weeks, specially the bigger ones? What caused the losses? Did you play by your rules or did you override them?

I remember Don Miller's analysis of his trading. Basicly as a weekday, Mondays were specially bad for him, causing most of his losses(something like 70% of Mondays were losers or so). So had he just stayed out and not traded on Mondays, he could have given himself an extra day for refreshing, saved on commission and of course, avoided losses... Thus the obvious result of that analysis should have been just not to trade on Mondays.

That's why I am asking these questions and you should look into them....
