Hey neke,

hows it going? saturday mornings arent the same without looking forward to your journal updates.

Its not too bad, just living below the surface (100K) and gasping for fresh air as someone has noted. Hopefully will be back up before long.

No gambler enjoys losing, they enjoy the thrill from putting there money at risk and hoping to win.

No, they get the thrill from playing. The joy is playing. That's why gamblers don't quit when they lose.

$400,000 account is not small :p

He was just not consistent. How many of you are?

Neke is a family man with expenses, anything less than $1million is small if he needs $60K+ a year just to meet living expenses. Especially in this time when brokerages dont pay interest on overnight cash.

Dude, read the fucking journal, will you? It got small by the time he reached 100K... He went below 100K AND taking out 5K a month, before stopped posting. That is a 40K account by year's end, if you are just breaking even...

And unfortunately he was very consistent, just not about winning....

Weekly Update for week 3/50 ended 2/4/2011

Disgusting week, down 3.8K (2%).

Was having an OK week, until Friday. A short position cost me a bunch and reversed my gain for the week. Took out 6K for the month ended 1/31/2012.
