Hey Neke,

In all seriousness, why you even keep trading cash when your equity curve is a falling knife?

Clearly something broke and you need to go back to the drawing board before risking hard earned cash.

Neke,

I, as well as many ET members, have told you many moons ago that you should stop this madness. You simply don't know how to trade. Yet you stubbornly refuse to accept the hard cold reality and bury yourself in bottomless abyss of denial.

I feel pity for the rest of your family. Just at what point are you going to stop? When the balance of your account is at $100k? Zero? Or even after you bust out are you going to borrow money from your family/friends or worse yet take cash advance from your credit cards to prolong the agony before you end up shooting yourself in the head?

Think about it.

Before it's too late.

Why do you say awful? 3.7% is really nothing for your style of trading.

That was my first thought.

Maybe he has cut back his risk, so this weeks 3.7% loss would have been a 10% losing week a few months ago.

But somehow i doubt he has really cut back his risk and so another 10K+ losing week is just a matter of time.

I hope neke listens to someone with better rep on this board-fewer posts and a longer stay.

What went wrong this time around?

You are probably partially responsible for his loss. You told him to stick to the system, which may be a bad one. (If he had taken the small profit manually, that trade would not have been a loser....)

He may be thinking about going back to discretionary trading next week, or partial discretionary trading.

Good work on executing your rules and not losing lots of money.

Have you considered taking at least a week off? That could do the trick for your turn around. Just don't think about anything related to trading, then get back to it next weekend.
