I must admit I thought in hindsight that VRUS was a clear Buy not Short, and I enjoyed saying so...! my point being there are numerous guys enjoying watching Neke for his brave trading, and either enjoying when he has one of his "big losing trades", or on the other hand enjoying when he has one of his big winning weeks. The former being the guy who doesn't agree with his trading style and enjoys when it shows, the later being the "cheer leader" who enjoys Neke proving the "formers" wrong !

I fall into both camps, I don't follow Neke's trading style as it's far too risky, but I do like to see it come off well when it does... Either way it's edge of your seat stuff... Lets see a "really" BIG win week soon Neke, go for it!
 
Weekly Update for week 14/50 ended 4/16/2011

Tremendous week, up 41K (14.8%). Dramatic recovery of last week's loss plus some more.

Great winning percentage (12 of 18) with no major loser. Sized down the max size limit on my discretionary trade from $250K to $200K, while upping the size for automated from $130K to $200K. The uniform size for auto and discretionary means there is no room left for adding size discretionarily after the automated position is initiated.

The major gainer was WMS on Tues. Got in short AH on Monday, and closed out the next day for 15K. Altogether discretionary trades netted 35K while automated gave 5K.

Congratz on the good week. Have you ever estimated what kind of slippage you incur when you trade like this? WMS was a pretty big position in a fairly illiquid aftermarket.
 
It was the break you needed...wouldn't do the same thing again...

Let's see if you can now settle down and trade diligently..

Neke - don't you think you are doing something wrong here.

After 229 trades and 4 months trading you still unprofitable, is it not time re-assess what you need to do to make money rather than keep on riding these huge equity swings which have proved unprofitable ?
