All I can say is that if your considering using Tradelink, make sure you are a good programmer. I am not, and I did contract with tradelink to do a 3 week project "remember"??? well the story is long but the pain has re-emerged as I recently hired a programmer to fix the unoperational code that this person created. btw that took 3 MONTHS, remember?? Anyway I was stupid to pay this person in full and above our agreement, I was committed to a firm @ that time to trade.

Anyway, I contacted tradelink again last week to resolve, in order to get this thing to work, and yes I did offer to pay for
his time. Well I sent 2 e-mails and this gentleman refuses to respond. If anyone feels the need to further investigate just
PM me.
 
I like IbPy, an automated (ANTLR) translation of IB's Java API to python, along with numpy and matplotlib. But I'm not trying to compete with the high frequency traders.
