The final game was much better than I expected. It was an exciting game to watch.

By the way, most Brazilians were rooting for Italy to win since we have a large colony of Italians in Brazil – mainly in Sao Paulo.

The truth is years from now the only thing that most people will remember about the 2006 World Cup in Germany is that Italy was the champion.

I was hoping that Brazil would be the champion.

After Brazil was eliminated I was hoping Portugal would go all the way because of Felipao – the best soccer coach of Brazil. I was rooting for Felipao to win.

After Felipao was eliminated I had no dog in the final fight as I mentioned on this message board.

A Folha de Sao Paulo a major newspaper in Brazil took a poll and found out that 33 percent of Brazilians were rooting for France in the final and that 77 percent were rooting for Italy. And the explanation is that we have a large Italian colony in Sao Paulo.

I just enjoyed watching the final game but I could careless which team was the winner – it did not make any difference to me.

I enjoyed watching Zidane in the French side, and the Italians had many players who play for Juventus of Italy – a team that I have been a fan for a long time.

I also said: “The truth is years from now the only thing that most people will remember about the 2006 World Cup in Germany is that Italy was the champion.”

I said that because a lot people gave me a hard time about Brazil winning in penalties in 1994. But again the truth is years from now the only thing that most people will remember about the 1994 World Cup in the United States is that Brazil was the champion and nothing else.

Believe me, everyone on this site knows that Pabst is the leading racist here (at least the most outspoken one - he is not afraid to admit that he hates those that are not white). I have stopped responding to his vomit. He apparently has some soul mates, though - see the black reparations thread. I am not commenting here on my feelings about black reparations, just pointing out that the thread attracted all the Aryan Nation boys.

I would ask you, though... why is it that you are not thrilled about the racial makeup of the French National side??
