Short is still in play but just inthe money. was 8K in the money. now only approx 800$. Will stick it out as my signals are indicative of the short coming to fruition.

Short on GBP/USD is right in the money again. 5K. Short on AUD/USD in the money at 9K. up 14K but will not close as i believe move has long way to go. Cant recognise profits until i close them. right now unrealised profits.
lost all my 14K unrealised gains unfortunately. stuck to my rules. would have profited over 30% gain this month but unfortunately find myself down

If you are risking 10% of your account each time you can go on indefinitely. you do not blow out after ten loses.
You didn't split your account up into 10 pieces, you are just re-evaluating your capital after each trade and the next trade uses 10%. is that right?
Starting at 50k you risk 5k. get up to 60k and you risk 6k. Down to 40k, you risk 4k.
10% risk on each trade can be risky, unless your edge is good. Its the kelly criterion, and that can work well with a good edge.
didnt want to post as i recorded record losses and broke nearly everyone of my trading rules:
went against the trend to recoup losses. entered without applying my trading strategy. didnt look at market for a few days at a time. Had orders in that i forgot about and got hit and stopped out:

i've been there too, more than once too, the trick is, rather than kick off with 50k capital, start off with a couple of k's max. the extra capital won't give you added experience but the number of accounts blown, do you a lot of good. as in all biz, it's about staying power while you gain knowledge and experience.
