2 questions about news speed and shorting yields

question 1: Regarding swing trading / investing: I often find Zerohedge (i don't like ZH) and Youtube/Reddit et al to be 2 days ahead of Bloomberg/CNN and others. What are their sources or their sources peers? 2 days delay in swing trading is usually very very bad.

question 2: I think US treasury yields will skyrocket soon, but do not know how far into the future (6 months, 1 year, 2 years?). How should I best play that instrument wise?

Isn't the current yield already high at 5.20% or so?
Do you mean it will rise to even 10% or so? IMO unrealistic.

Ideally, you wanna buy bonds during rate cutting cycle and sell when the FOMC begins to hike rates.
