Lets not also forget Republicans giving trillions to the rich and corporations and the military industrial complex over education and social programs.

Trump gave trillions to to the rich and corporations via tax cuts and trillions to the military industrial complex.Bush gave trillions to to the rich and corporations via tax cuts and trillions to the military industrial complex and for two wars.Most that money would have been better spent on education,job training and other anti poverty and anti wealth inequality programs so that millions of people wouldn't have to resort to crime to survive.

Republicans policies leads to millions of impoverished,poorly educated people with easy access to guns and thats the main cause of crime in this country.

To try in any way to justify this sub human behavior as a consequence of others advocating the 2nd Amendment is beyond the pale.

I mean, if I want a dishonest viewpoint on gun laws, I could tune in to CNN, which is being sued, btw, for 6 months profit for defaming Trump.

Take all the guns away from law abiding citizens and the criminals will kill way more than 40k a year. Probably a million or more. Civilization would crumble in the US, kind of like it already is.

Imagine women getting raped at will since they won't be able to defend themselves. People getting their houses invaded because they won't be able to defend themselves. I could go and on, it's a no brainer.
