learn to calculate, you're in the realm of finance after all. If you cant calculate % change you're hopeless.

[(New - Old) / Old] * 100 = your % change.

New - Old = 1,000,000 - 2,500 = 997,500

New / Old = 997,500 / 2,500 = 399

[(New - Old) / Old] * 100 = 399 * 100 = 39,900
