I have heard of this charting tool, but am not familiar with it. I heard from a trading buddy that it has a few bugs in it.

Right, actually 14:00est is an important Gann time resistance point, and the lunch time rangebound action had support at *exactly* another Gann price resistance point, break these two and a change in market character shouldn't have been surprising.
