The spread on the MYM (micro dow) and MNQ are very similar to the NQ and YM. I saw 3 to 5 ticks today between the bid and ask. Normally it is 1. I will check out the MES, because I see that the ES appears normal with 1 tick. Great thinking!

The action today continued to be volcanic:

Hot, smokey, smelly, flowing downhill, destructive, unpredictable, and ultimately explosive.

Today I was down and up and down and finally ended up about $50 I think. (I will know late tonight.) I am still on one micro contract per trade because of volatility.

It was an NFP and Coronavirus day, and I should have just stayed away...! (But we traders are a mysterious bunch.)

As of this writing, 260 have been infected in the USA and 14 have died.

I forgot to enter the final tally from yesterday: $103.64. This brought the total as of yesterday's close to $4,097.

This allows me to trade with 8 micros at a time now. I still need to market to calm down first before I attempt such a feat though....

Your position size management is good during the Corona-virus market conditions.

I wouldn't go to 8 micros...slow and steady has been working well for you. Thus, don't mess with something if it has not broken.

I shit you not, I made over 250k last week alone, with friday being my biggest loss ever. Lost almost 146k, not the way I wanted to end the week, but when you have a plague like this, risk is my type of strategy.

Roughly calculating, you double the account after 1.5 months (32 or 33 trading days), in this rate, you can reach from $2000 to one million in about 1 year and 2 months. Compounding with ES is feasible to that level in terms of size.

WOW, congrats on the gain!!! Did you end with week with a net of 104k or 250k? Either way, you rock. Personally, that kind of volatility would fry my brain. But I respect a lot of different styles.
