A AG newbie asks for help
I`ve been trading ES and CL for almost a 3 years already, but last two month i also start to trade Soy-meals, Soybeans and Wheat. Don't know why, but the historical tests\last months of "live" - shows these 3 tickers are the best for my ATS trading (ported form ES\CL).
For these of my tests i`ve just take the tick data from Zen-Fire data-feed. Since you can get 2-3-4 years of tick-by-tick data (for all GRAINS) from there (with Ninja Trader).
But, unfortunately there is no data for meats and softs.
Any advices where can i get free\pricy historical data for most active\liquide MEATS\SOFTS like hogs, sugar 11, cotton, etc.
I don't need a lot of data really. 2-3 years of data will be quite enough. Also i don't need tick-accuracy data, 1min will be fine, but 30min also will play for me.
PS: And im also quite confused about exchanges.
Am i right, most liquidity contracts are traded here:
GRAINS - eCBOT
MEATS - CME
SOFTS - ICE
m?
so, as i understand, if i will have to but a historical data from one of the data-feeds (is any1 will recommend some), i will need to but ICE and CME historical data for softs\meats.
Right?
