+1k. ES Minis contracts per day

Sorry - Every trading account has a unique tag 50 no matter the account structure. Can you elaborate?

My bad, I should've been clearer.

I'm referring to when the user obtains Firm Admin Dashboard access and then gets permitted by the FCM to create iLink session IDs associated with the FCM and/or Tag 50 operator IDs by themselves.

More trivially, CME treats any user that obtains a dedicated iLink as an ATS operator, regardless of entity structure. However there are more nuanced steps along the way of simply gaining FADB access or registering a new Tag 50 with FADB where a user might become classified as an ATS operator unknowingly.

All this is usually abstracted away from a retail trader but are parts of the typical administrative process for setting up a low latency environment on CME.

This iLink offering is not a “retail” offering and requires a minimum credit that varies from FCM to FCM from $500k to $2mm. A day trader does not need this solution.

RIght? When I switched to futures, I knew right away I wanted to be a member someday cause of the commissions
Hello hilmy83,

you got that right buddy.

When I heard I can scale to 100 ES contracts at $500 margin per contract, I never looked at any other business or stock trading again.

Trading futures is blessing, I absolutely love it.

Why not? I have a list with commissions, Tradovate zero commission. Or is there a latency problem?

For what it's worth I considered Tradovate, but there's been way too many negative complaints for me to even consider them as it would involve learning a new platform as well.

I believe I saw someone make a comparison between Tradovate and Ninjatrader with a lifetime license and the cost was similar.

Tradovate seems to be back and running again. I haven't had an issue in awhile now. From what I saw the commissions were a little higher at Ninja and you don't pay for the platform at Tradovate. Hopefully Ninja won't change that, but I don't hold out hope. You can pay to reduce commissions and at that volume I would for sure. At the same time I don't really see Ninja or Tradovate as the best option for him for his description of what he is looking for at this time.

So, it's not a couple of hundred of milliseconds that will make a big difference in this case.

FWIW, IB round trip response time between the time a market order is sent and the time the fill is received is around 250 ms. If a faster broker exists (very probable), you will save what, 50,100, 200 ms. 100 ms substracted from 2-3 seconds will not make a big difference (percentage wise).
I already noticed that after I got a fast fill, I could even get a better price. So I am sure that the fastest broker ( i mean a few milliseconds faster) is not always a garantee for a better price.
More important is that your system finds the optimal place to get in or out. Some traders even get opportunities to get a much better price 10 minutes later. Focus on your optimal entry signal, not the milliseconds from the execution. I am mostly around 200-250 ms.
Good entries saved me much more money than fast executions.
