In 1997, I had a job at 85 Broad Street, down the street from the NYSE.
So I walked past the stock exchange every early morning.
I'd always wave at the guys (security detail).
Eventually I'd go over and say hello.
They had bomb-sniffing dogs.
Either Golden Retrievers, or Yellow Labs.
All the cars stopped get a "sniff".
After many months of this (and being a dog lover),
I went to pet one of the dogs.
(The dogs were very friendly).
The dog had a photo ID on his collar.
