Not necessarily apples to apples, but tigerdirect has 36 reviews of the Hanns-g 19" wide screen. Reviews are very favorable.

19" screens with 1280x1024 resolution are useless as a trading monitor.

Pay a little bit more and get a higher pixel count LCD.
You won't regret the decision.

Of course, but when adjusted for best picture, it was still too bright. Brightness could be reduced further but begins to look like being viewed through a dirty window. With best adjustment, it looks like being viewed through a lightly frosted window... lesser of evils, I suppose. But that's just my taste. I'm sure some people like excessive brightness otherwise they wouldn't keep making monitors brighter and brighter.
