I just got a toshiba P25 series with the 17" screen. I hooked it up to a 21" crt monitor and windows allowed me to extend my desktop across both screens without any additional software or cards.

How much did you pay, and congrats. That's a great set up. I want a nineteen inch screen IBM notebook with about ten separate LCD screens.

They're going for 1900 to 2100 on ebay, where I got mine. Retail is about 2800. I got the 3.0ghz chip with 1Gb ram, 80G hd, 800 front side bus.

I know exactly what you're talking about as I'm an artist. I'm eager to obtain my desktop in the form of a laptop.
