LOL, i am pretty sure there isnt a single man in the world who hasnt misinterpreted what a woman was thinking, and flirted a little too hard, and then just felt like a total shit heel when they got rejected. Its probabably just as painful for a dude when they think they are in with a girl and they just look at you like WTF? when you make the move.
It obviously doesnt justify 95% of these stories that are coming out, but no one ever mentions anything about the fact that its basically all on a guy to try to make a move, and then figure out if hes getting rejected....... unless your brad pitt, you have been burned hard at some point in your life. I cant even imagine what it must be like for guys going to university these days, the margin for error between flirting and something that could cost you your entire life is razor thin these days, if i was still a dumb awkward college kid, id be scared shitless of women, lol.
