162K Jobs! Where?

I think ZeroHedge sums it up pretty well. This is the Obama recovery. Good for his elite. Not so good for ordinary Americans.
----

When the payroll report was released last month, the world finally noticed what we had been saying for nearly three years: that the US was slowly being converted to a part-time worker society. This slow conversion accelerated drastically in the last few months, and especially in June, when part time jobs exploded higher by 360K while full time jobs dropped by 240K. In July we are sad to report that America's conversation to a part-time worker society is not "tapering": according to the Household Survey, of the 266K jobs created (note this number differs from the establishment survey), only 35% of jobs, or 92K, were full time. The rest were... not.

“We Have Become a Nation of Hamburger Flippers”: Dan Alpert Breaks Down the Jobs Report
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/dail...lippers-dan-alpert-breaks-down-145831220.html

'The data disappointed Wall Street economists but are consistent with the trends Dan Alpert, managing partner at Westwood Capital, cited in a recent report: “The fact is that the U.S. employment situation is more of a wounded beast than a bull,” he writes.

According to Alpert’s analysis, 69% of the jobs created in the second quarter – and 57% in the first half of 2013 – were in the three lowest-paying sectors of the economy: retail trade, administrative and waste services, and leisure and hospitality. These jobs, which account for 33% of all private sector jobs, pay an average of $15.80 per hour.

“What you’re seeing is now the spreading of low wage growth,” he says, noting those trends continued in Friday's July jobs report. “Really we have become a nation of hamburger flippers, Wal-Mart sales associates, barmaids, checkout people and other people working at very low wages.”'

I read another stat today that said, of the 990k or so of posted jobs "created" this year, 75 some percent were part-time.

Good job, Mr. President.

Edit: Here it is...

Its actually pretty funny, obamacare, which is the most toxic piece of legislation in history, when it comes to the economy, is actually going to create jobs due to the fact that peoples hours will be cut in hlf and there will now be 2 jobs for every 1.

Dems will chalk this up as a huge victory, and"proof" that more reulations and taxes creates jobs.

And their sheeple will believe it too.

They say the government/politicians can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time.

But, can they really fool most of the people all of the time?

This is rhetorical, right? I mean, it is actually happening.
