Finally found a technique that makes sense for me.
But the ES is unreadable lately IMHO
Too much liquidity at each level.
I trade NQ as it fits well my style.
Got the four main indexes (ES, NQ, RTY, YM)
Each one displayed in a 15min chart candle,
I look for a trend & relative strength.
Lately NQ is the most dynamic percent wise,
But I’d take a position in the leading issue.
Tried some internal market indicators,
Such as Advance - Decline, Tick and Volume,
These indicators r about the NYSE listed stocks,
But it didn’t help even though it’s worth a try.
Maybe the tick index for timing purposes.
Then I have the DOM + Time and Sales.
Not sure about volume analysis...
Got the profile displayed on the DOM,
I get the basics but can it improve my trading ?
Time & Sales is more like a short history of price.
I look for the natural ups and downs,
Place orders on previous turning points,
Maybe volume has its use here to identify S/R
Obviously some low break even in an uptrend,
Maybe some are weak and some are strong.
Depends how much we’ve touched it,
And how many contracts have been traded.
Looking at other futures too,
The most active and top performer ones.
But I like the Gang of Four for the correlation.
