It's because it creates a HUGE incentive for the manager to take lots of risk because he can't cover his overhead unless he shows returns; so if he goes for a hail mary, he might make it; otherwise, he's folding for sure.

Well, they have an embedded account fee of $500 if you stay for 6 weeks.
Do the math. If you invest the $25K minimum, that's 2%.
Anyway, pisher managed funds like this where the trader (Alex) only has hypothetical results couldn't command a management fee anyway.
He's also very consistent calling paper trades in the room for all the hungry birds waiting for momma to drop worms into their open beaks.
