For almost all of my systems, I use 2 ticks and also the other side of the 50's and evens. There are many times when the highs or lows of previous bars are taken out by 1 tick due to noise.
For me personally, I always have my exit stops on the other side of the .50's and even numbers as those are numbers where people tend to accumulate orders.

good food for thought, thanks. I am looking at this "any 15 min candle range" and instead of .5 going only for .3
Whats the cheapest realtime streaming chart out software/website out there?
Globalfutures' StrategyRunnerLite is pretty cheap, but that's a trading platform as well as chart datastream.
